End of School
Swee really bonded with both of these ladies this year. The one in the orange was his teacher and the lady in the glasses was the classroom assistant. They both appreciated his potential and impulsive nature, and he flourished with both.

Beautful Bookend
Our beautiful bookend was born last night at 6:52. She weighed in at 7lb 14oz and was 21.25 in long. Everyone, even Doodle, was completely in love with her from the first moment. We were extremely blessed to have parents, grandparents and the big siblings there to welcome her immediately following her birth. Everyone is doing great and we will do our best to keep it updated. We hope to be home tomorrow afternoon.

he's a slugger
he had his first pitching machine game tonight and he WOWed us. his first time in the field he played catcher, wore all the gear and did a great job. the rest of the game when his team was in the field he played first base and he was so excited to have gotten someone out. he had two at bats and cranked a double the first time up and a single the second time. he even scored his team's first run. he was elated, on cloud nine, ecstatic or however you want to say it. he is loving baseball!

well, we continue to wait for the end of school, the arrival of the newest family member (approx. 2 weeks) and for our trip to see family out west this summer. priss is busy taking state standardized testing, swee is busy being a socialite against his teacher's wishes and doodle continues to make everyone laugh. we have been enjoying the company of jason's mom who has been helping out with keeping doodle while i accompanied priss on a field trip, attended numerous doctors' appointments and functions at the kids' school. i am amazed at how fast the school year has went by but how slowly the pregnancy has went. it seems like forever since we first found out about number 4 but like it was just yesterday that priss started 3rd grade and swee kindergarten. i am really looking forward to this summer having the four kids at the pool, taking bike rides and walks and enjoying some needed family time. jason continues to work a crazy schedule with all the spring sports taking place and the weather causing chaos and rescheduling dilemmas arising. oh yeah, swee is also doing pitching machine this year and priss is playing soccer again. until the next post.

first time ever
as I sat in my doctor's office this morning waiting for my second NST of the week I experienced something that I never had before. the door opened and in walked a woman in an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs. I simply thought to myself lets get this appointment rolling! she was followed by a deputy with gun and all. it was so strange to be sitting in the NST room and hear handcuffs clicking outside the door in the hallway. I would prefer to not experience this again anytime in the near future, what am I saying ever in the future!

Happy Easter
I have been trying for several days to upload some pictures from Easter but blogger just isn't cooperating with me so there won't be pictures of us for a while now. Anyone else having issues uploading pictures?

NST and Twice Weekly Appointments
Last Thursday I hit the 32 week mark and began my weekly journey of going to the doctor's office twice a week for fluid checks, ultrasounds and non-stress tests. I have had two appointments so far and everything is great and it continues to seen like the baby's gender has stayed the same. The little one is very calm and doesn't get upset very easily, in fact, the nurse practitioner has to stimulate the baby to get any sort of reaction. The baby's reactions remind me of doodle's when I had the NSTs with him.
The countdown has begun towards the big D day. I don't think it can come soon enough for everyone but I am cherishing the moments that I get to hog this little one. 6 weeks to go!

i am currently head over heels in love with today's weather. doodle and i had a picnic lunch while we watched the neighbor's tree get trimmed and chopped into mulch. it was about 70 degrees and i actually got a sunburn while sitting out in the afternoon sun reading the steve jobs books. the kids couldn't get their clothes changed quick enough to get outside to play after school. doodle even weaseled out of his nap to enjoy some sunshine. jason threw burgers and dogs on the grill. if only the weather were here to stay permanently. tomorrow is supposed to be the same and thursday warm but with a chance of rain. bring on spring sunshine, bike rides and a new baby! CAN'T WAIT!
