First Snow

The kids and I took advantage of it just being us today and played in the snow. We had so much fun! Jason had given Emerson a sled as a Christmas present last year so we decided to go sledding down the small slope in our backyard. The kids felt like they were flying down and I even took a turn or two. I love snow days that are crisp and not freezing. However, by the time we went inside for lunch both of the kids were sporting pink cheeks. Too cute and just what a kid should have after a play in the snow.



I am ready for a little more snow so that we can venture out and locate a really good sledding hill around.
