End of School

Priss with her teacher, Mrs. Schwer.  She loved everyday of school this year and was always looking forward to the next project or unit planned.

Swee really bonded with both of these ladies this year.  The one in the orange was his teacher and the lady in the glasses was the classroom assistant.  They both appreciated his potential and impulsive nature, and he flourished with both.

1 week old

I know I will get flack from the sisters about the hairbow but oh well!  Everyone is doing great and as of today adjusting to having a tiny babe in the house.

Beautful Bookend

Our beautiful bookend was born last night at 6:52.  She weighed in at 7lb 14oz and was 21.25 in long.   Everyone, even Doodle, was completely in love with her from the first moment.  We were extremely blessed to have parents, grandparents and the big siblings there to welcome her immediately following her birth.  Everyone is doing great and we will do our best to keep it updated.  We hope to be home tomorrow afternoon.

he's a slugger

he had his first pitching machine game tonight and he WOWed us. his first time in the field he played catcher, wore all the gear and did a great job. the rest of the game when his team was in the field he played first base and he was so excited to have gotten someone out. he had two at bats and cranked a double the first time up and a single the second time. he even scored his team's first run. he was elated, on cloud nine, ecstatic or however you want to say it. he is loving baseball!

well, we continue to wait for the end of school, the arrival of the newest family member (approx. 2 weeks) and for our trip to see family out west this summer. priss is busy taking state standardized testing, swee is busy being a socialite against his teacher's wishes and doodle continues to make everyone laugh. we have been enjoying the company of jason's mom who has been helping out with keeping doodle while i accompanied priss on a field trip, attended numerous doctors' appointments and functions at the kids' school. i am amazed at how fast the school year has went by but how slowly the pregnancy has went. it seems like forever since we first found out about number 4 but like it was just yesterday that priss started 3rd grade and swee kindergarten. i am really looking forward to this summer having the four kids at the pool, taking bike rides and walks and enjoying some needed family time. jason continues to work a crazy schedule with all the spring sports taking place and the weather causing chaos and rescheduling dilemmas arising. oh yeah, swee is also doing pitching machine this year and priss is playing soccer again. until the next post.
