We are Swimming

The kids began swim lessons this week and love them. Priss's teacher's name is George and she is in a group with about 3 other kids. Swee on the other hand has about 4 teachers and 12 kids in his class. Priss's favorite part of swim lessons is getting to dive into the deep water to get the dive sticks. Swee's is jumping off the diving board at the end of lessons. We continue lessons next week but the kids are excelling in them already, or so their teachers say.

Breakfast in Bed

The kids wanted to make Jason breakfast in bed for Father's Day. Priss and I got up early to prepare cinnamon pizza, waffles, bacon and oj for him. At the last minute Swee woke up and got in on all the fun. The kids presented Jason with his breakfast and then it was time for presents. Priss picked out a blue apron, Swee chose a shovel and almost knocked Jason out with it. I believe a great morning was had and afternoon...Jason took a nap that rivaled one of Swee's. Overall we enjoyed a beautiful day with a tremendous Dad.

We are so grateful that this man is our Dad and husband. Life wouldn't be the same without him. Thanks for allowing us to celebrate this Father's Day with you.

Meeting Finn and Honey's Bday

Over the last several days we had the wonderful opportunity to spend some precious time with my baby sister and her 7 week old, Finn. The kids feel in love with him, as did Jason and I. He smelled so good, snuggled, and looked adorable the entire time. Seeing and holding him make me very excited to meet our little one.

They left on Friday evening after many tears were shed and plans for another trip home were made.

Along with getting to visit with her I was able to spend a lot of time with Erica and her kids. This was also saddened by the fact that they soon will be moving to the Pacific Northwest in less than a month. What a sad day this will be for my kids who are watching the only cousins they have around move so far from them.

Life truly is an up and down roller coaster ride when you are the one who seems to be watching from the sidelines. We will be cherishing the time we have with them and then will be eager for their return trips. While spending time with my sisters and their kids we celebrated my Mom's birthday and Father's Day (forgot to take pictures). Happy Birthday Mom!

Ft. Myers Beach/Orlando

We tagged along with Jason's parents down to their condo on Ft. Myers Beach for a couple of days following the end of school for him and Priss. The kids loved the ocean, which was a bit shocking since last time they really didn't want much to do with it. They loved running out into the Gulf into the waves. Priss once again loved shelling but Swee preferred to chase people down the beach to throw sand on them, mostly Grandma Pat was the target. From Ft. Myers Beach we went to Orlando to stay at one of our timeshares. The kids love the pool at the Orlando condo since it has 3 slides, a volcano and waterfall. While in Orlando we took them to Disney again as promised. Both loved meeting the characters and having their pictures taken with them. Swee and Priss loved riding Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. I got to be the photographer since it was not endorsed by Disney or my doctors that I ride either one. The weather was a little less than favorable but we made the most of it. We ate when it was raining and rode indoor rides. On Friday Priss had an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for her makeover. She was selected to be the princess that received her makeover in the large picture window of the store. Her costume this time was Tinkerbell from the Fairies movie, we haven't seen the movie but I believe that is what it was from.

We had a great trip and have the entire summer ahead of us. The kids are already planning our next Disney trip in 2013, when this baby will be 3.

At Downtown Disney one night Priss fell in love.

Home

We are home and blogging will commence once again...I need to download my pictures and this should occur sometime within the week! No promises! We didn't have a computer on vacation after all so that explains that lack of updates while we were gone.
