We will be packing up the Expedition with all the required items for some time at the beach and a trip to Disney World. The kids are so excited and have been waiting for Swee to turn 3 so that we could return. The last time we went Priss was 3 and when she asked how long till we would go back we told her when Swee was 3. Since March they have been counting down - LITERALLY!
I can't wait to just be away from the chaos that seems to have taken over our lives this month. Jason's dad had a heart attack the first Tuesday in May (we didn't hear about it until that Wednesday but we won't dwell on that), the following Tuesday Jason's grandmother had a massive stroke that has left her, at this time, unable to move, speak or do much of anything, the third Tuesday his grandmother had her feeding tube moved to her abdomen & had a trachea put in, and finally this past Tuesday we received good news...everything is going great with the pregnancy and I will begin appointments every two weeks following my next appointment. We are so thankful that our Tuesdays in May finally had something positive occur! However, yesterday we took the Expedition in for an oil change and asked the mechanic to check out the leak we had noticed...over $450 later the oil is changed, we are proud owners of a new radiator and the car should be ours again at closing time today, just in time for us to load it up and drive off into the sunset!
Check back - I will try to update throughout the vacation!
I guess this is good-bye

A First Grader ...REALLY?
Today our Sweet Prissy girl attended kindergarten for the last time. She was so excited to give her teacher the present she'd selected....homemade cookies...that she was dressed, had eaten and ready to go about 30 minutes before we needed to leave. When we pulled up she raced out of the car and into school carrying her present for her treasured teacher.
Swee and I had lunch with her today. She was so excited to see us and for us to sit with her on the stage (where you only get to sit if someone comes to eat with you).
We were able to attend an Honor's Program for her today. She received an award for being a Hall of Fame Reader and one for completing kindergarten.
How fast has this school year went by? Truly in a blink of an eye. She loved school, couldn't wait to go, hated missing when she was sick and was saddened to know that she would not be in Mrs. Ferguson's class next year. I am so very proud of my little girl who has begun to find her niche in this crazy world. Way to go Sis Girl!

Soccer Anyone?
Priss has thoroughly enjoyed playing soccer this spring. She has caught on to the concept pretty quickly and looks forward to her practices (many have been rained out) and her games. We completely love watching her play and Swee can't wait until he is old enough to play too. She will miss the last couple of games since we are heading to Florida (Disney) later on this month and I haven't had the heart to tell her. I think we are signing up for fall soccer since she liked it so much.

Announcing....
We have been very tentative about announcing that we are once again expecting a little one. We are due sometime in early September. Since this is our sixth pregnancy and we suffered 2 miscarriages last year I have been undergoing a lot of tests, doctor's appointments and daily shots. But it is all worth knowing that we have a healthy baby....
NO, we once again didn't find out what we were having. Even though Priss was applying a lot of pressure to know. Both kids were at the ultrasound with us and were really excited to see the baby.
We will be returning for another regular appointment in a couple of weeks, then in 8 weeks we will return for another ultrasound and then twice monthly stress tests to make sure everything is fine and to monitor the baby's growth. Since I am on blood thinners (via a shot) twice a day they will induce me a couple of weeks early so that it will be a controlled environment and before I go into labor on my own.
Priss loved this video because at the end it looks like the baby is laughing.
Also in the lower left hand corner you can see the baby's hand.
This is a video of the baby facing you. You can see the baby's nose, mouth, and closed eyes.
