Happy Days

Last week we celebrated my Mom's birthday and Father's Day. It was odd to be the only ones around for both holidays since last year Valeri and Finn were here from Utah and Erica and her crew were still living here. The kids enjoyed getting to sing Happy Birthday and help Honey blow her candles out. Priss wanted to put one on for each year but we discussed how we wanted to be able to eat the cake once the candles were blown out instead of watching the cake melt. For Father's Day the kids made Jason breakfast in bed...homemade french toast which is his specialty. The day was a laid back one just at home the five of us but it gave us a lot of time to reflect on the wonderful men who are a part of our lives and our children's...Grandpa David, Grandpa Ed, Ggpa, Uncle B, Uncle Morgan, Uncle Matt. We truly have been blessed to have men who exemplify wonderful qualities that we can strive to emulate.
