3.6 Seconds and a Timeout

Jason's Lady Bulldogs had their first home game of the season last night. He had a feeling that his team was going to lose due to the fact that his players hadn't been practicing very well. His feeling almost came true! The game was tied, 41 to 41, with about 9 seconds on the clock when his team got a rebound. He attempted to call a timeout as soon as the ball was rebounded. The timeout wasn't granted until his player was able to throw the ball to a completely open player and she made a lay-up. Right before the uncontested lay-up was made Jason was granted the timeout with 3.6 seconds on the clock. He quickly drew up an in bounds play that had his point guard taking a three point shot. The in bounds play went off without a hitch, it was perfect. At the buzzer a three was hit. Final score North Decatur 41 Batesville 44. What a game, I could barely sit down from excitement the last 2 minutes.
