Setting up the Tree

This post was supposed to be entered on Saturday/Sunday but for some reason got over looked.


We promised Emerson that when we got home from Indy we would put the Christmas tree up. As you can see from the pictures we had some really good helpers. Both of the kids thought that the tree stand was a bench to sit on and watch Jason and I put the tree up. Each of the kids got to put up the ornaments that their ggma and ggpa gave to them at Thanksgiving. We weren't able to put up the ornaments from Grandma and Grandpa because we didn't have our hooks down.






On Sunday we decided to light the tree and Emerson could hardly contain herself through dinner. She was in charge of making sure all the strands of lights worked & putting the star that she choose on the top of the tree, and Sawyer was in charge of tying hisself up in the lights. Both did a very good job helping out with their respective responsibilities.
